These endpoints are only available to users with the Consumer, Contributor, or Administrator roles (Promoters and Guest roles are not allowed)
Ticket types are configured by the confirm host and represent the kinds of tickets that are on sale for the confirm. In the screenshot above, there are two ticket types present for “General Admission - Advance” and “General Admission - Day of Show”.
Ticket types are also important during the ordering process. When you place an order, we need to know how many of each ticket type the order is purchasing, and we capture this information using an “Order Item” record. We also use Ticket Type to determine if the tickets can be ordered based on the current time and how many tickets have already been sold.
